We are looking doing some research on wine as an investment. Its part a television series. We are looking for success and failure, foreign and domestic. it could be investing in wine future or even a winery.

Our micro-winery is going through a round of funding right now - a challenge given the current economy. It seems as if the only source of capital these days is from the venture world - most of whom want a 200% return in 12 months...
For a story on the failure end, I worked for a small wine futures company in the early 90s (I was just out of college and worked in their retail store, not as a princiapl). I think they ended up getting investigated by the FTC.
