Assuring the Provenance of Fine Wine

I think you'll be intrigued by the work our company has undertaken. eProvenance is working to assure ideal temperature conditions for the transport and storage of fine wine during worldwide distribution. Using our RFID temperature sensors and online monitoring system, we are assessing the quality of global fine wine shipment conditions. Our goal is to help establish fine wine cold chains in which proper temperature conditions are maintained.

We work with producers, importers, distributors, transporters, all members of the distribution chain, and currently have clients in Bordeaux, Burgundy, California and the UK.

We've researched the impact of high temperatures on the quality of fine wine, and we've established Wine Provenance Collaboratives in Bordeaux and Napa/Sonoma to map the performance of the global wine distribution channels in order to understand and improve conditions, share best practices, and provide the ability to authenticate high-quality provenance.
