Wine 2.0

I had a question from a client I was hoping the group might be able to to help with. The question is: Name up to 5 particular "wines to watch" brands under the following categories:

1. Super Value Wines
2. Basic to Sub-Premium Wines
3. Premium Wines
4. Super Premium Wines
5. Ultra Premium or Deluxe Wines
6. Icon Wines (most expensive, yet not rare collectible wines)

I've got data from Impact and Adams, but it doesn't really answer this question. So I'd welcome your reccos. I don't have actual prices to go with the categories, so I'd default to the wisdom of the crowd.

Thanks.

1. Trader Joe's "Coastal" made by a local vintner here in Paso Robles. $4.00 Very drinkable.
2. The 7 oaks Cab of J.Lohr $10.00 Very consistent, drink everyday type of wine. Have never had a bad bottle of this wine.
3. "Hilltop Cab" by J.Lohr $40.00 to $60.00 depends on where you are drinking it. Top notch cab. We compare every cab we drink with this standard here in Paso Robles.
4. Carols Vineyard Series Cab. Made by J.Lohr also, named after Jerry Lohrs Wife Carol. Vineyards located in Napa. $40.00 to $75.00 for a Library addition vintage.

Can you tell we are J.Lohr Cab fans? LOL!

5. Cuvee Series sold in 4 bottle flights. I want one for Christmas. $200.00 Don't know if this counts for Ultra Premium or not, but it's as close as I get to that level.
6. Don't know of any.

Hope this helps.

If you have not tried any of the J.Lohr Vineyard and Winery wines. I highly recommend you do.
