Beaujolais Nuevo comes again ( aghhhh!)

Every year this stuff comes out and every year its bad. We are swooned to buy it for a holiday the French dont even celebrate!..But the wine is mass produced and cheaply made. Fresh notes of
banana peel and bubble gum completed by a finish of sweetened cherry kool-aid.
I just cant get in to it..sorry.. (The Cru Beaujolais on the other hand can be quite good)
Any thoughts?
