The Valencia Wine Country trip was great fun! With exquisite wine and fantastic food along the way. The wines I tasted at Torrojas and other bodegas were all new to me, but some of the best-tasting vintages I’ve ever had.
At El Alambique restaurant, the food and service were simply fabulous. One of the best roasted legs of lamb I’ve ever tasted! With plenty of cheese, olives and sausage, as well as a lovely soup. My advice is to bring a healthy appetite on the trip – you won’t be disappointed.
I’m a veteran who was stationed in Spain at one time. I got to sample several wines, including the famed “Tinta Rioja.” Since then, I’ve tasted fine wines from around the world. But Spanish wines are still my favorite, and my experience in Valencia Wine Country taught me that wines produced in that region are every bit as impressive as those produced in the Rioja district – or anywhere else in Spain.

I would say this is a must if you're staying in the Valencia. I was on my honeymoon and my wife and I really enjoyed this low budget activity.
