The Wine Bottle has more clothes on...

Ladies, may I ask the following only due to my utter dismay, What should I wear to this or that wine tasting?

White seem pretentious and ignorant because "Hello, its Wine, and Red Wine is a great stain but only on a t-shirt.".

Black is not convinient on hot summer days and you can't camp out at the rotating fan sitting on the tasting bar.

A splatter of color only works with a few people hair color and complexion.

But what is the point of wearing spaghetti straps and a mini skirt when you are a good 20 years past the appropriate age of flaunting your assets.

I felt guilty for not telling the woman that her spike, strappy heels with pleather mini skirt and tidyed spaghetti strapped flimsy fabric did not work on the gravel paved driveway or in the cobbled stone tasting room.

I know being comfortably sexy is what we would love to convey in this setting, but when the wine bottle has more clothes than you on what do you wear to the next tasting event?
