I am the founder and owner of Eldchrist Winery in Plain City, Ohio. I bought and restored a farmhouse that was originally build in 1863. The farmhouse and polebarn are now set up as a fully permitted Bonded Winery. We expect our first commercial wines to be available for sale in 2009. My vision is to start a mini wine industry hotspot along a very scenic covered bridge route in the central ohio area.

Chris,
Nancy and I have worked together for years now and when she told me that you were putting together a winery in Ill. I was quite interested in connecting and talking to you. I have spent the past three years, researching and making connections in preparation for returning to MO (Berryman - 60 miles S of St. Louis in the Mark Twain National Forest) to rressurect my family's farm and convert it into BioDynamic Vineyards. (In addition I am working with a Professor of Agfo Forestry at the University of MO to plant Black Perigord Truffle Orchards intertwined within the rows of Grapevines. This is being done in France and is quite successful. Naturally., the fact that when in three to five years the orchards mature and bear fruit, they have a potential revenue of up to $35k per acre of planed Trees.
Anyway, let's talk soon and perhaps we can put our heads together and discuss both our endeavours.
