- I am the Toasted Hostess of a up and coming TV-Show called The Corkscrew Diary.
The Corkscrew Diary is a global travelogue and personal introduction to artisans who bring life to wine and wine to our lives. From the Pinot vineyards of the Willamette Valley in Oregon to the Pinotage Estates of the West Cape of South Africa there will be no leaf left unturned and no big barrel untested. Set against a backdrop of working vineyards, I introduces and reveals unique destinations, volumes of varietals and fabulous food pairings through the words of the winemakers and chefs themselves.
I believe life is too short, always drink good wine..

Our winery is called Highlands Road Estate, all the wines are just Highlands Road. We are into our 3rd vintage now, focussing on Sauvignon Blanc, but have another couple of varietals in the portfolio. I also do quite a bit of contract winemaking for clients on the Elgin and Franschhoek area. We are in Elgin, the new 'cool climate area' of the Western Cape, and loving it. I was making wine in Franschhoek for the last 10 years prior to buying this farm.
