Fun Times in Bordeaux During Primeurs 2010

Pictures and memories of a busy week of tasting in Bordeaux in early April. I was tasting with a team of buyers, journalists and enthusiasts from all around the World. We were studying and assessing the barrel samples of the much lauded 2010 Bordeaux vintage.Action shots in the tasting room at Chateau Pavie in Saint Emilion. A suspicious Steve(right), a talkative Chip and Bill(at…See More

Bella Wines 12,000 page views. Good or bad?

I have been writing this occasional blog for a couple of years now. The focus is clearly on wine and wine tourism. This is a good window to see what is happening with Bella Wines and also Bella Wine Tours or for me to communicate future events. However I need and value a bit of feedback from time to time. What do you think?Do you have suggestions for what you want…See More

Thanks for your kind comments about our photos of Languedoc! We absolutely loved being there, and hope to return someday. What a stunning place! I didn't know much about wine at the time, so I expect the next trip will be much more exciting!

Thank you for your interests in our adventures
The strategic partners we speak of are destination vineyards, wine associations, wine distributors, tourism boards, and corporate product placement efforts.
As the Corkscrew Diary is pure advertainment, we offer our show as a venue to promote tourism, emerging estates, and relative demographic services (i.e. airlines, automobiles...) I say all of this to better define our expectations of "Strategic Partners" - these entities, in fact, expense all travel, lodging and food for these ad-ventures.
The Corkscrew Diary is a work in progress and open to greet the world, sharing stories of wine for the wine curious. We are eager to engage multiple destinations and develop the necessary relations to help grow the Corkscrew Diary and share the stories of wine to the next generation of consumers around the globe. We are at this time in contact with Argentina, Chile, Australia, New Zealand and various lesser known wine regions across America. We would love to engage the South of France!
As you can tell, I am very excited about this work... we have been blessed with meeting such incredible people and breaking bread with gifted artisans in many wine regions of the world. We are not in a position to employ anyone to do our bidding at this time though we are incredibly thankful for the insights that individuals are able to provide along the way.
Again, thank you for your interest in our efforts. If there is further information you might wish to share or need from us to begin our journey to France, please let me know... at deborah_gee@goco.tv
Cheers!

We hope to share stories from all of the wine regions on the globe. We have not yet begun to focus on France, though if we are able to create the right kind of strategic partnerships and engage the right emerging estates, we have cameras and will travel!
If, by chance, you want to share the Corkscrew Diary with the wonderful characters you spoke of - this might get us there sooner. Thank you for your interest and contact. We look forwad to one day visiting the South of France as the fates allow!
Cheers!

Hi Hamish Wakes Miller. How are you?
Here I think quite worry about the financial crisis in the states because affect directly our wine exports and wine tourism however we have to wait as evolves.
You taste our Malbec from Mendoza?
thanks for your comments, stay in touch
cheers
