Hernan,

Here is the review. You can easily do searches on our site for key words. We tag all content. The wines are definitely from the south. Miolo happens to be one of my favorite brands. I am not a wine expert by any means. Just happen to like "as I state in the article" Good Wines at a Good price.

Feel free to also discuss your wines in our growing network.
Take care,

Wally

Hey. I am an avid fan of South American Wines - especially those from Chile. I wrote a review of some Brazilian wines recently on my site - www.everydayguy.tv.

Thanks for adding me! Cheers

Hi, actually it's only the west side of WA state that is 'cold'; east of the Cascade Mtns it is a 'mediterranean' climate (in wine terms) with temps in the 90-100*F during the summer and 7-17" rain annually. They are small boutique wineries (Reininger, Colvin, Morrison Lane) that grow the carmenere; haven't tasted them side by side with a chilean carm yet though to compare, but on their own they are tasty. In that pic I am in the Ventue region in the Rhone Valley picking syrah. Went with my friend's cooking school and had a fabulous time touring, shopping in the daily markets, family dinners each night, wine tasting, cheese making, etc. www.culinarycommunion.com
cheers!! :)

iHola Hernan! Muchas gracias for the invitation! I visited Chile a few years ago on a summer ski trip at Valle Nevado. I love carmenere, and the story surrounding it's discovery there in Chile. As you may know, there are some Washington wineries growing/making carmenere now; have you tried any of them? We visited Concha Y Toro, had one day in Santiago and one day in Valparaiso. Very beautiful!! Best wishes to you! Shellie
