About Me:
Photo was taken in Chinon. That's the Vienne behind me; the Loire is on the other side and a bit further away. Wonderful, quirky area to discover wines, many many small producers who invite you right into their homes for tastings.

Me: in midst of career change. Life's short.

Hi Jennifer:

Absolutely, lots of recommendations. My preference is for Pinot from the Russian River and Sonoma Coast. My favorites are Kosta Browne, Dumol and Kistler. Also love (and better price points) Siduri (had the Sonoma Coast last night, which is a steal for $19.50) and Walter Hansel.

Glad to connect, Rick

Point well taken, Jennifer. As sellers of wine, we do not recommend not finishing a bottle of wine, but understand that it sometimes happens.

Cheers!

Hi Jennifer,

I don't think you can get on winebeagles without being on Facebook. Some people have tried without luck. I have my own website in the works and will be featuring my wine blog on it as well as interviews with lots of people in the industry, a wine tutorial and wine country trip planning. It'll be very light-hearted and fun, even humorous at times. That's what I'm about--keeping it fun. I'll be visiting Napa and Sonoma for a week at the end of this month and when I get back I'm focusing on my site project so we can get it off the ground. I'll keep you posted on the launch date. Thanks for the info on France. I've always wanted to go there. A good friend of mine has been there three times and loves it! I've only been to Italy and Germany (where I was born and raised), so France is a must for me eventually. I will check out your site also! Maybe I can interview you for my site!
