hi! Harvest has been a bit dicey. Great fruit, just not a lot of it. We had a nasty frost back in late April that damaged a lot of the fruit so yields have been pretty low. At least it will be good wine!
Up here in the Northern Willamette Valley of Oregon we are still waiting for harvest. It has been unusually cool this year, but we have less than our average rainfall, so the grapes are experiencing a very long hangtime and should develop complex flavors and aromas. We expect harvest to be fully underway by mid-October, so I will be better able to assess the quality of the fruit and potential for the wines sometime in late October. Patience is necessary in this business!!!!!

Hi Jeremy,
We specialize in Zinfandels - all of our 2006 vintages are excellent! We're in the middle of harvest and the winemaker says the 07s are lookin' good! Have you ever tried Charter Oak Wine? We have 2006 Napa Valley Zin, '06 Monte Rosso Zin, and then an '06 Petite Sirah and two cabs - one 2003 Diamond Mt. Cab and a 2005 Mt. Veeder Cab - both Napa Valley regions. Try us out. We are a small boutique winery in St. Helena, so no Asia markets at this time!

Hi,
Everything is going well this year. We've had a VERY cold growing season, so are facing higher than usual acids. So, far everything looks to be going well.
How are you?

Hi Jeremy - thanks for the add! You had asked out this year's wines - we are still about 3-4 weeks out from harvest. Our vineyards sites are all at elevation and on hillsides, so our grapes come in later than many in the Rogue Valley. Things are looking good, similar to 2005. Let's hope the rains hold off...

Hello Jeremy,
I sell for one of the larger distributors in the US, based in TX. I have been fortunate to establish relationships with suppliers all over the west coast and some from Europe. If I can help put you in touch with anyone or give you any impartial insights...just let me know.
