Time To Tweet?

On Wednesday, Nielsen Wire published a post title Twitter's Tweet Smell of Success. The most noteworthy data point was clearly the explosive growth in users between Feb 08 and Feb 09 - growing from 475,000 to more than 7 million (1,400%). This explosive growth is expected to continue through 2009. But, there was something else worth noting. Twitter has… Continue

Site vs. Blog

The question has come up: should you build a blog or build a site? And, the argument was made that a blog is chronological (time and date stamped) and therefore not as valuable as navigable site content.

First, I think we need some clarity on what a website is.It can be pages, it can be a blog, or it can be both. When referring to a website, we want to consider two categories of content – ‘page content’ and ‘updateable content’. A good… Continue

Hi John, Just got my invite to this group. Glad to be involved. I am just making arrangements for being in San Francisco next week for the Wine 2.0 bash. Maybe will run into you there. We support small and mid sized wineries with a online directory. We now have a couple of dozen winery customers that we promote.

"The State" is the only game in town here in Utah. They are the only entity that can buy wine and all consumers, restaurants and bars included, must buy thru the state stores. It's a tough environment. (I moved here from Napa...my friends there think I'm nuts). There's no way I could do this as my primary job but it makes for a nice sideline.

I've only been in business a short time. Haven't met Liz but I'm familiar with the name. She's got a nice little book.

I'd be interested to hear your opinion of Colorado wines. I'm planning a recon trip to the Grand Junction area this spring. Any recommended stops?
