I own/manage a boutique winery located in the cooler Coombsville area of Napa Valley. We produce only 500 cases per year of our Ackerman Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon. We have been making wine for ourselves since 1995 and started selling commercially in 2007. We hold our wine back for four years (two years in new French Oak and two years in the bottle) and we contribute 100% of our proceeds back to the community. We also farm sustainably and are completing our CCOF certification process soon.
