Hi Lesley,
My name is Peter Bowers and our mutual friend Bob Orenstein suggested I get in touch with you. My wife and I are moving to the Napa Valley next month and would love to be able to connect with you. Email me at peterbowers@msn.com.
I am a third generation Napa Valley native from a grape growing family and a serial entrepreneur. My current companies include the Aged Cabernet Trust and the WISE Academy. I am also co-chair of WITS (Wine Industry Technology Symposium) and the Green Wine Summit.
Hi Lesley
Not sure if you are still active within this group - You very kindly sent me some notes and information on a course that I did with you in San Francisco in January 2009. I have just done a Wine Tourism Managment Course through the USB (Stellenbosch University) and am busy with my assignment - The information you sent me on DTC Marketing - was all saved on my laptop that was stolen 2 months ago - Would it be at all possible for you to send it on to me again? My e-mail is corporate@cabriere.co.za. Many thanks - Carolyn

Hi Lesley - we met in San Francisco recently at one of your seminars, and thanks so much for sending me the report on you survey! I still dicovering the joys of social neworking. Not being a Millenial - I find it a little daunting, but am detemined to get the gist of it!
By the way - have you had a chance to taste some good South African wines recently?
This from Barbara Keck. Is there a direct e-mail address that I can use to add you to my Constant Contact database of bloggers and other social-network folks? I write about a lot of packaging technology for wine, and also about other aspects of wine production. I believe that Millennials will tire of just reviewing and reading about wines, and will want to know more about what's behind the product -- a current example is the "Green"/Sustainability concerns that are reaching down to the consumer level. One manifestation is the locavore movement, and that translates to local-area wine tourism which in turn benefits smaller wineries A LOT. So knowing what's behind the product will become of increased interest to wine lovers, I believe. Admittedly, much of my writing takes the form of PR press releases (that darned California mortgage to pay!), but some of it, like a forthcoming report I am doing based on interviews with 25 winemakers/owners at ZAP on their current marketing and packaging concerns, is more a white paper than anything else.
So, shall I put you on the list? You probably won't get more than 40 messages/communications about "what's behind the wine" or "what issues are winemakers noddling over" in a year. I too have an over-full in-box and I wouldn't do that to you....
Best regards, Barbara Keck e: news@winebizpr.com

Hi Lesley - Thanks for the note. I'd love to get a recap of your Direct benchmarking report, if possible. I've been hearing great things about the WISE project. Looking forward to hearing more.
