I am a former Sommelier from Bellagio, Graduate of UNLV's Hotel Administration/Hospitality Management program, former Wine Director for Eiffel Tower Restaurant, and currently at the beautiful Green Valley Ranch Resort as a Manager for Hank's Fine Steaks and Martinis, Sushi Sake, China Spice and Terra Verde Restaurants.

93 Chapoutier Cote-Rotie

Upon opening this bottle, the smell of @$$ is very prevelant which is due to that term I like to use, "French Funk"! The terroir gives way to much earth which protrudes out of this bottle. The first sip of this wine still shows good fruit. Thoughts of currant, black-raspberry with some smokiness seem to enter my mind as I take another sip.
