Dan,
I noticed your background was in wine sales. I own a young winery in the Sierra foothills and would like to know if you can recommend any brokers or distributors that focus on small, family owned wines?

Mark,
Just read your comment on Wine 2.0. Careful, your baby boomer roots are showing. Social media isn't just for kids, it's for all of us. It's a way for you to create personal relationships with your current and potential…
If you get to Northern CA, I will pour you a big Cab Franc. 100% Franc in 50% new French oak for 25 months. Bottled in December 2008 and just starting to blossom. We don't ship to VA or DC, so you gotta come out!

Just read your comment on Wine 2.0. Careful, your baby boomer roots are showing. Social media isn't just for kids, it's for all of us. It's a way for you to create personal relationships with your current and potential customers that are beyond that 1-2 hour drive and use that medium of technology to connect. It's also a tool for us, as consumers, to learn about you and your brand. That's what motivates us to make that drive, come see you and taste your wines. Whoever said "social media is a state of mind, not a campaign" was right. Hope that helps you see things from a consumer's perspective.
Cheers, Janet
