Our port is divine

The sky is light blue,
The river still there for you,
Horizon with candles waiting for the night,
Presents and tears without a fight.

Colored rainbow sleeps with the vines,
Port ruby, tawny, white can combines.
Lemon yellow or green is a good neighbor,
Drink a port with aroma and flavor…

A celebration and a very special moment at any time,
Drink a glass of port and you will be fine,
Don’t drink any other kind of wine,
Just ours because is divine…

Kindest regards from Douro Valley.

Marty,

Here are the answers to your questions regarding the wine you purchased from Cave B...this is direct from our winemaker, Freddy Arredondo. Hope this helps, and hope you thoroughly enjoy the wines!

Tempranillo = Will be great for at least a couple of years. Is very drinkable now and there is really no reason to hang on to it unless you just want to see where it goes in the next couple of years. This is our first vintage of this wine so I cannot give any recommendations based on history. The wine balance certainly speaks to the fact that the wine should age quite well for at least 4 – 6 years.

Cave B Cabernet = I would hang on to this one for a couple of years. I am guessing that the wine will be at its best in about another 12 – 18 months.

Cave B Syrah = I think this wine is ready to drink now, and do not see any reason to hang on to it for a prolonged period of time. But I certainly think it will maintain its current character for at least another 2 years.

Marty,

I've passed your contact info along to Todd Deligan and he will call or email soon. I've also put your wine question to our Winemaker Freddy Arredondo; I'll post his answer her on Wine 2.0 just as soon as I receive it.

Thank you again for your kind words and interest--

Hi Marty,

There is much happening with the Golf Club at SageCliffe and the SageCliffe limited home sites. Todd Deligan, our Director of Development, is your man for learning all about it...it's very exciting, and we'd love to share all the details with you. Would you like for me to put him in contact with you?

Marty,

That's wonderful...which wines did you purchase? I would love to hear your feedback after tasting. And thank you, too, for taking the time to look through our website so thoroughly--and I'm happy to let you know that we will soon have a google map link on our site! Above all, we want people to not only try our wine, but visit us, too. Thank you for bringing that to our attention.

Cool I was just down river from there with my boys fishing for steelhead yesterday. Here is how it went: gas up boat $24, drive to Carnation 20 minutes, launch boat rig poles 20 minutes, 37 degrees, one son forgets coat, other son does not wear socks, I'm cold and I want to go home 1 minute after poles rigged : time lines in water actually fishing 4 minutes: 5 minutes later loading the boat: drive home: pricelesss!
