Hailing form Alabama, it may not seem natural for me to work in California's film / video industry focused on wine projects. But that's what I am doing ... I was lured back to Sonoma in January 2008 by a start-up company that has been focused on humorous wine related projects.
I love watching films, making films, drinking wine, tasting wine, learning about wine, talking about wine, meeting people involved in the wine industry, cooking, shopping for food and spending time with my friends.
I work with several filmmakers in the Sonoma & Napa Valleys. In addition we have a Wine Entertainment website - www.WineInterview.com which features videos, blogs and an extensive marketplace of wine related products.
I bought a Vinotemp wine cellar for $7 at a yard sale. THAT was a great day!
Depends on my mood & the occasion. I just like wine!
Most memorable experience around wine?
We piled the 6 person video crew in an RV and drove to San Francisco for ZAP 2008 -- the wines & winemakers were memorable. But I will never forget the cheers that emerged from the crowd late in the day whenever a wine glass shattered on the concrete floor. Cheers from the room, then laughter -- drunk people can be so funny!
