i sometimes have to travel for work however whenever possible i do enjoy traveling abroad. i enjoy driving up to wine country and bringing back a couple of cases and not to mention enjoying a meal or two in our food capital of the country, napa!.
in addition in 2003, i co-founded base, a boutique studio focusing on contemporary architecture and interior design. one focus of ours is kitchen redesign for contemporary modern homes. we work directly with our clients needs and desires for their individual perception of form and utility. this in turn results in the product of an aesthetic interplay involving architecture, materials, and the passion for cooking and entertaining. the experience we like to explore in our design is touch, smell, and taste. the design of living space goes hand in hand with the desire to focus awareness through the senses and as such, each design detail felt through the senses. using innovative techniques and exploring building materials that integrate with the environment, our approach defines the relationships of clarity.
