Wine routes: visiting Buenos Aires - San Juan - Mendoza - Salta - Cafayate

Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires. Reception and transfer to the Burda Wine & Tango Boutique Hotel. Accommodation.

Day 2: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to San Juan. Reception and welcome at the airport of San Juan. Transfer to the Hotel. Excursion to Zonda and Ullum`s Oasis, but before that we will do a City tour / Sightseeing of San Juan which includes: visiting its centre, the Principal Park, the Cathedral, Sarmiento´s House and the Juan Victoria Auditorium. Then we will continue with the journey to the Zonda Wine-Cellars (Caves dogged in the mountain rocks, with temperature optimal conditions for the Champagnes` elaboration). Excursion, Champagne tasting and products sales. Then we will continue along the Perilago of Ullum dike. In the evening we will take a guided visit to La Guardia winery (Typical and familiar cellar of handcraft production), where we will be introduced into the ancient techniques of wine elaboration. To conclude the journey, we will go to “Santiago Graffigna” Wine’s museum. Transfer to the Hotel. Accommodation.

Day 3: Breakfast. Transfer to San Agustín del Valle Fértil Village . Visit to Difunta Correa´s Sanctuary and accommodation at the hotel. Half day excursion to Ischigualasto Provincial Park (Moon’s Valley) where we could see different geographical formations. Visit to the “Paleontological Interpretation Centre” and the “Piedras del Mundo” Museum. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 4: Breakfast. Transfer to Talampaya National Park where we will visit the main Canyon. After that, we will visit Los Cauquenes dike and a small village called Jáchal.. Transfer to San Juan City along the mithycal “Route 40”. Transfer to Mendoza City and accommodation at Park Suites Hotel.

Day 5: Breakfast. Visit through the historical, commercial and scattering city’s principal points and surroundings. Visit to the Foundational Area, the Civic Centre, General San Martin Park and “de la Gloria” Hill , finishing in the heart of Mendoza city. During the evening we will go through one of the best wine ways of Mendoza visiting 2 wineries where high range wines are elaborated. Then we will have a look of a traditional house where you will have the chance to enjoy an author wines tasting accompanied with a cheese and handcraft cold cuts table.

Day 6: Breakfast. Free Day to tour all over the city.

Optional: Full day to Mendoza’s south, visiting the Atuel Canyon, a summer vacations zones, and an impressive hydroelectric complex. Visit of San Rafael’s city. Transfer to the hotel in the evening.

Day 7: Breakfast. Free day. Transfer to the airport to take a flight to Salta. Reception and transfer to Papyrus Boutique Hotel. Accommodation.

Day 8: Breakfast. City tour around Salta city, visiting monuments and churches, walk up to the San Bernardo’s hilltop to have a panoramic view of the city. The tour also includes a visit to San Lorenzo, a beautiful summer village. Rest of the day free.

Day 9: Breakfast. Early in the morning we will start the excursion to Cafayate village. Cross over villages like Seclantás y Molinos, where we will have a stop to have a look of the vicunas’ breeding-place and the last Realist Governor’s house. Free time for lunch..
Arrival in Colomé town to visit a famous Winery and Boutique hotel. After that, we will pass through Angastaco town where we could enjoy “Quebrada de las Flechas” an impressive landscape. Arrival in Calafate. Accommodation and dinner at “La Casa de la Bodega” boutique hotel (4*) in a double room with view to the vineyard (rural environment 14 kms from the village).
At this place we will visit the tasting area, where every stock of vines could be taste and where an enologist will introduce us to the wine fascinating process. Accommodation.
Day 10: Breakfast. During the morning visit to “La Banda” winery. Transfer to Salta through the magnificent “Quebrada de las Conchas”, where we will have the chance to walk along of its natural formations and take pictures of the Castles, the Amphitheatre, the “Garganta del Diablo” and other incredible formations. Afterwards, we will visit the Cabra Corral Dike , an enormous water’s mirror surrounded by mountains. Free lunch in Cafayate or at the Dike. Dinner at the Papyrus Hotel Boutique in Salta. Accommodation.

Day 11: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival in Buenos Aires. Transfer to Gurda Wine & Tango Hotel. Accommodation.

Day 12: Breakfast. Free day. At night, visit to La Cava del Querandi, where we will taste 3 types of Argentinean wines and have dinner of wine marinade food.

Day 13: Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to get the International flight.
