Hey Thomas, nice to meet you! That's a great pic by the way :) Haven't had Anne Amie yet, but I've heard great things. Looking forward to learning more and keeping up with your ventures on here.
I studied dance at Cal State Long Beach. Only through my sophmore year. I had grown up dancing as a youngster and then decided that I wouldn't excel in dance as I wanted....so I turned to my other love -- news. I still love dance though and playing piano. Try to see performances as often as possible. Still play piano and if I can find a modern dance class nearby, I sign up. The city (SF) is often too far for me to go on a weeknight though, living in Napa. Yes, Anthony rocks and I knew Lemelson would be a great fit for him. He's a very good winemaker and I knew he would excel. We worked together while he was at Acacia. Still keep in touch. I've been up there a couple of times since he and Kara moved. Eric is a character and a half. Delete Comment
Thomas - I'm sorry we haven't had the chance to meet. I started out as a modern dance major in college and I've read about your career as a dancer. I'm also a Pinot Noir lover and I enjoyed tasting your wines at IPNC a couple of years ago. I saw you from afar, but alas, never got the chance to say hello. My friend Anthony King is just down the road from you at Lemelson. Hoping you're having a terrific harvest!
Your harvest volunteer fundraiser for Salud sounds wonderful. I can't attend (I'm in CA), but if you know of similar events in other regions (like CA), please let me know. What a great idea, and best of luck.
