The Bellflower is really nice Chard eh? Bellflower is an odd duck of a vineyard. it's near Petaluma/Windsor and was very young when those grapes were picked, might have been first Chard crop off that vineyard. Looking at the vineyard you'd be leery of plunking down top dollar for fruit, and the Pinot that I saw coming in in 07 looked scary but it was some of the best Pinot that CP produced that year. So I'm curious to kep an eye on that vineyard.
cheers.

Hi Gwendolyn,
Baja's wines have changed dramatically in the past years. Also, the wineries are increasing in numbers, now we should be around 40 wineries in the region (20 years ago, there where 4 wineries). Furthermore, we are winning international awards every year so I guess we are doing something right!! We are currently exporting to the US through the Duckhorn group (Via Pacifica) and also through the internet, so if your intrested in tasting some samples, you can do it through our web page.
Anyway, it's great to hear that you where in Baja 10 years ago!! maybe next time you go I can show you all the advances on the region.
All the best
Hans
