A New Job and a new bottle of wine

The MadMen season premiere was a bust as far as I am concerned but I did get some swanky new champagne glasses so, then serendipitously I got a new job offer...Oh how wonderful to have those glasses still.

I opened a nice bottle of Chandon and popped some popcorn all in preparation for....


Failure.

Yeah, not exactly Champagne worthy but, then again I do understand the meaning of the saying

"there is success in failures too"

I did not expect it in the least so, I found myself opening up the Ariel from J.Lohr which was


GREAT. I may have a new vice to compete with my favorite wine bars..

The Ariel Merlot was great and Sparkling Champagne was really, really good.

Enough to convince me that I will find another job tomorrow or the day after that.
