Wine 2.0

A few weeks ago we presented the three gi by ilios-o wines at the National Wine Tradeshow FENAVIN. The purpose was to feel out the national and international trade and consumers’ opinion on our wines and the Bag in Box prototype that we are planning launching.

It was our first tradeshow and we were eager to know about the Trade and the consumers’ acceptance of the wines and the gi concept. To design a wine for such a different group of consumers who wants an easy drinking wine without being underestimated in our wine taste or in our capacity of enjoying a good wine, or for those of us who wants to share a special moment with our friends without dipping into our purses or why not for us who simply wants to know with what kind of wine to pair with for instance pizza without getting lost in technicalities like the kind of oak ageing or terroirs. This is not an easy task and it needs to be judged by the consumer.

Now, it turned out so well that the American blogger Heather Johnston, chef and wine critic and the soul behind http://sogood.tv who caters to food and wine lovers like you and I in an entertaining way through her blog and TV programs, used our gi Tempranillo and gi Monastrell at the program broadcasted directly from FENAVIN.

An important day for us at Grupo ilios-o!
