Today, I visited Ridge, Savannah-Chanelle and Fogarty in the Santa Cruz Mountains....a fabulous day of wine!!!!!!

They got me to purchase the 08 futures on the Monte Bello. The 48% discount is hard to pass up. I don't drink much Zin but theirs is fabulous. My friends brought a 99 Geyersville, which we had with our picnic. I also bought the 06 Santa Cruz Mountain and 05 Lytton Springs which is my old reliable. That is quite a hill to the tasting room. I'll post photos when I get a chance. Thanks for the post.

and you had some great weather to go with those tastings too! What was your favorite varietal? I love, louve, luv Ridge to a point they may invest in a restraining order against me especially Zinfandel...oooh did you have a picnic too? Where are the pictures? Do you think the time spent, knowledge, and wine worth the value? Did you go on the tours? Okay I am living vicariously thru you, please tell us more!
